BEFORE YOU BEGIN: BEST PRACTICES FOR EMAIL
To help keep your email accounts free from spam and to be sure that your personal information is kept private
1. Use your earlyisd.net email account for school purposes only. This will insure that your personal information is kept private. Remember that all information in earlyisd.net email accounts (along with any data saved to the Early ISD network) is public record.
2. Get a personal email address for all personal communication. Gmail, Yahoo, and Hotmail are all free options. If you have Internet access in your home, your home Internet Service Provider (ISP) should give you an email address (Verizon, Harris, Pegasus, etc.).
3. Get a "Disposable Address" to use for websites that require registration. This will help you cut down on the number of websites that have your email address, therefore cutting down on spam. When the address starts getting too much spam, just dump the account and get a new one.
